wells, have been watching the mentalist for the entire YOG break (:
really really good show
would strongly recommend everyone to watch the show! (:
the protagonist, Patrick Jane, is damn smart
really wonder if someone like him exists in reality
is there really a mentalist in real life?
how can someone bother to pay attention to small lil details?
and furthermore, use these details to solve crimes? :O
that's really unthinkable... hmm.

alright. i'm back to all of you who still reads.
sorry for the long hiatus.
wells. it's been about two months since i last wrote.
so, if you are still here. thanks!
it's been wonderful that you kept faith in this empty page for the past 2 months!

hmm. and so, during this long hiatus, many events took place,

chinese new year
valentines' day
9th month (:
exams
release of results
fernanders' birthday celebration
FAC camp
10th month (:
First Aid Comp itself

CNY this year was pretty hectic.
lots of shuttling about places (:

and this year seems to have started on a positive note.
first, i won money for the first ever time during CNY. haha.
and then came results,

Business Accounting 2 - A
Conveyancing Law - A
Company Law - B
French - A
Principles of Management - Z

BA2 result came as a surprise, totally didnt expect to score an A
but Company Law came as quite a disappointment,  i thought i could manage at least a B+
but still, this has been the best sem ever, in terms of academic excellence, so i cant ask for more (:
and i managed to pull my gpa to my all time best to 3.58
yay! and now it's time to maintain it or do even better in the 2 sems that remain.

celebrated fernanders' birthday at fishnco at imm
he sort of sabo-ed himself by suggesting fishnco :P

and another highlight this holiday was the date that came 4 years late. hee.
finally went out with maddy sis this holiday
went to cineleisure to catch a movie
couldnt decide on what to watch and so i just picked the one with the most eye catching title and the one that has the least waiting time. haha.
wells, turns out that i kinda like the movie.
and for once, i actually like Robert Pattinson
and yes, he can act.
but still, i like the female lead, Emilie De Ravin, more.
i think she's gorgeous (:
the movie is pretty good, it tries to convey the the power of love and strength of family, the importance of treasuring every day of your life.

and i finally did public duty after a long while
and boy oh boy wasn't it hectic towards the end.
3 cases on the trot, left one that wasn't too serious to the teachers.
attended to two suspected asthma cases with waikin.
one recovered well, the other sent to the hospital.
quite pleased that i can make a difference in others' lives.
even if you dont know who we are, you will still bear in mind that we were there for you when you had difficulty in breathing.

and now that school's gonna start soon, i kinda wish that holidays will last longer.
i've been teaching for about half of my hols so far.
yewtee primary is my current port of call.
wells, i love the very first class i took, 1 Faith
cute kids. really really cute kids.
they nvr fail to cheer me up with their calls of "Mr Shaun!"
coupled with those smiles that comes out directly from their heart and their overzealous waves (:

so i'm supposed to be sitting bored stiff in the LT now
listening to the boring BA lecture
but here i am, at home, livejornaling to everyone of you here
in fact, i'm still pissed at myself
cus i'm supposed to be snoring out loud at this point of time

and i'm clueless as to what to write here

and so, after a long hiatus, shaun's back chewing apples again
it's been a pretty hectic start to the year
even more so than the start to 2009
another 6 hours more or so to the first test of 2010
BA 2, class test, at freaking 7pm
which means, shaun only has to be in school at freaking 7pm

many things have kept me occupied from the starting of the year till now
in fact, the only fun thing i did for the past 18 days of the year is...
countdown
it doesnt seem so exciting to be counting down to the new year already, isnt it?
i rather stay in the last 2 or 3 weeks of 2009
it was holidays, it was baby's holidays
meeting each other was easy (or rather, easier)

company law has been weighing on everyone's mind until last friday
many lamented, "i should have started during the holidays"
well, i wish i did too
it was a whole mad struggle to get everything done!
then, there was POM project submission too
but luckily, we managed to clear it way before deadline
kudos, everyone

then there is sjab's activities to attend to
CCA fair trainings, CCA fair, AGM
right now, looking back, it doesnt seem to have to taken up too much time
but, hmm, it still feels taxing nonetheless
and really, kids, is it really worth my time to come down to help you guys?

i'm starting to feel tired about the whole thing
and the best thing is, its only roughly 9 months since i'm back there

O level results were released last week
hmm. didnt really know anyone who did really well
general response from those who sat for their Os last year wasnt ideal
but then again, this year's cohort did better than last year's as a whole in the O-levels, right?

O level seems like child's play now
2 years after you have sat for it and did pretty well
you wouldnt understand all the mad struggles from the kids who are gonna take them soon
heck, i dont even rmb myself panicking for the BIG O (not the Big O, but O for O levels) until my prelims results were out
my prelim results really set alarm bells ringing
that was when i started studying

okay, enough ranting
its time to get back to accounting notes, bye ppl

hello everybody! (:
happy boxing day!
how was your christmas?
i donno about yours...
but mine was brilliant! :D

everything started off on the evening of christmas eve
it didnt start off well
baby kind of pissed me off when we were supposed to meet
travelled to orchard to meet my lil girl
she made a BIG white lie that pissed me off
long story short
that lie that she made was becus she had a surprise in mind for me (:
thanks baby! that was sweet of you (:

dinner was at Ion's swensens with baby along with cyrstal and diya
wasnt feeling too hungry
had just half a celebrity brownie
and my poor lil baby just extracted her tooth, so, just mushroom soup for her

crystal and diya left shortly after
baby and me walked around orchard for a lil over one hour?
trust me, you will never love walking around orchard during x'mas

reached cineleisure after a long long walk
pathways were all squeezed up
barriers were put up
and poof! a simple journey became a long one
but luckily, i have baby by my side (:

wanted to catch alvin and the chipmunks with baby
but the next 4 slots were all snapped up
the tired lil girl says she wants to go home and off we went (:
of cos, home meant shaun's place :D
baby was gonna be spending the night over at mine
first time ever that we are gonna be spending the night with each other

unspoken bliss (:

watched a lil bit of 13 going on to 30 on my lappy before deciding that we were too tired to continue
bed was our next port of call and we slept soundly
and ever wondered how it feels, waking up and seeing the one lying next to you?
i'm glad to say that it's no longer just a beautiful dream for me
it actually happened! :D
waking up and getting to see baby sleeping sweetly beside me feels like PURE HAPPINESS
really blissful kind of feeling (:

and like a sweet lil pair of newly weds (a bit exaggerated, right?), we held hands and went down for breakfast
breakfast was at toastbox!
otah thick toast and traditional kaya toast was our preferred choice of breakfast
talk was all about the cute lil baby girl with her papa outside toastbox
she's damn cute!
and one can tell the joys of being a father through the smile on that lil baby's dad's face

we went back home and watched the girl next door and 17 again
yea, x'mas with us is like a couch potato's way of life
but whatever~
as long as we are happy and blissful
lunch was ...

 home-made aglio oglio! :D

talked around a while more and it was time to say byebye :(
but i'm still happy with the way x'mas was panned out (:

i have been spending almost my entire holiday playing
football manager 2010
i guess from the league table, you can know la huh.
